Jean-Paul Alary, currently an executive at Safran Aircraft Engines, will formally take charge of the firm on April, 1 2025, KNDS announced.
The Franco-German land systems manufacturer KNDS has appointed Jean-Paul Alary as its new CEO, succeeding Frank Haun, who will step down from post later this month.
Alary, who has worked in the defense industry since 1991, will formally take charge of the firm on April 1, 2025, according to a KNDS company statement. He is due to depart as France’s Safran Aircraft Engines CEO at the end of December.
“With Jean-Paul Alary, KNDS could win an outstanding expert in technology and management,” said Philippe Petitcolin, KNDS Chair of the Board of Directors. “He will further drive KNDS’s innovational power and economic growth. We are pleased to welcome him to the KNDS leadership team.”
