ALSEAMAR is excited to announce a strategic collaboration with HANWHA OCEAN, reflecting the expanding interest of the world’s second-largest shipbuilder in the innovative technologies developed by the French SME.
With increasing threats in naval warfare and the rise of unmanned systems, armed forces must continuously evolve. ALSEAMAR’s solutions, including its sophisticated radio communication systems and SEAEXPLORER underwater gliders, are designed to address these evolving challenges by delivering outstanding performance and reliability in demanding and dynamic conditions.
Prior to signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), ALSEAMAR hosted HANWHA OCEAN teams for a live at-sea demonstration showcasing three key systems: the Black Bird system (which allows UAV deployment and data relay from deep underwater submarines), the SEAEXPLORER underwater glider, and the MURENE combat swimmer vehicle.
The demonstration aimed to showcase how ALSEAMAR’s technologies align with and support HANWHA OCEAN’s strategic objectives.

Following the demonstration, the signing of the MOU formalized the partnership and set the stage for future joint ventures.
